We believe marriage is designed by God and is vital in portraying who He is to the world, and hope to help couples be better equipped to deal with the challenges faced in marriage, as we believe that a strong marriage centred on Christ is key to a strong family ministry to the world.

We’d love to get to know you and equip you for this lifelong journey of love and discovery as you set up a covenant family and join the community of God here in Zion Serangoon. God calls His people to worship and serve in local churches and communities, and hope that couples will find their calling to do so with us.

We encourage all courting couples to attend the Marriage Preparation Course (MPC) once both partners are intentionally working towards marriage. Couples intending to be married by Zion Serangoon are required to start the course 10-12 months before their marriage.

What can you expect?
This 6-session course is designed to equip couples to prepare for marriage well. Couples are assigned facilitators to guide them through the sessions, and given a questionnaire to complete. The questionnaire is not a test of compatibility, but rather is designed to help couples affirm areas of strength in the relationship and highlight important issues for discussion.

Topics covered:

• God’s design for marriage
• Communications and conflict resolution
• Marriage role differentiation and relating to in-laws
• Financial management
• Biblical sexuality
• Final preparation for the wedding

The MPC will be conducted either in a small group or on an individual basis, as decided by course facilitators. We would love to walk alongside you as you take this next major step towards marriage.

$250 per couple

Wedding Application:
For couples intending to be married by Zion Serangoon B-P Church, please apply at least 8 months before your wedding date to book the church venue. Do note that we do not allow couples to merely rent the building as a wedding venue.
