Join The Family

Joining the family means taking the step to enter into committed communion, fellowship and service with fellow believers here at Zion Serangoon. We invite you to join us in being that small part of the global family of God, united under Christ’s lordship and bound together in unity and fellowship by the Holy Spirit.

You may do that through:

Baptism

A holy ordinance instituted by our Lord Jesus, where a Christian publicly confesses faith in Jesus Christ through water baptism. This is a sign and seal of our union with Christ. Our mode of baptism is by sprinkling.

Reaffirmation of Faith

An act in which a person who was baptized as a child confirms for himself/herself the faith to which his/her parents committed him/her when they presented him/her for Child Baptism.

Transfer of Church Membership

When a baptized believer from another church, having attended Zion Serangoon B-P Church for some time and wishing to commit himself to the spiritual care of this church, formally transfers his church membership to Zion Serangoon. In that event, the person will have to terminate their membership in the former church and apply for membership at Zion Serangoon B-P Church.

Profession of Faith

For those previously baptised in a Roman Catholic Church, and who now want to make a public statement that they follow the doctrine of the Protestant faith.

Child Baptism

An act of obedience and faith where parents present their children for baptism, believing that God will be faithful to bring believers and their descendants to saving faith. Child Baptism does not save the child but is a sign and symbol that marks the child as part of God’s covenant community and its benefits.

Catechism Class

If you are a believer in Jesus and would like to take up membership at Zion Serangoon, you may fill in this form to meet our leaders and attend Catechism Class to understand the core beliefs of Christianity and what it means to become a member of Zion Serangoon.

If you are not yet a believer in Jesus, you may consider exploring Christianity here instead.
