SAF

The Senior Adults Fellowship (SAF) welcomes those aged 50 and above. We aim to provide a place for seniors to meet and fellowship with one another, with activities to nourish their spiritual, physical and mental well-being. LKH visitation
Outreach Ministry

Ling Kwang Home Visitation

Over the years, we have continued our outreach ministry to Ling Kwang Home (LKH). We conduct English Devotions every Tuesday and Friday morning from 9.00am - 10.30am, where we have a time of worship and preaching for the LKH residents. Those who accept Christ are arranged for baptism.

We also organize 8 outings a year for the residents and hold monthly birthday celebrations. Special Christmas and Chinese New Year celebrations are also organized for the residents annually. A group of LKH residents who have become Zion Serangoon members are wheeled to attend the worship service every Sunday.

Many of us look forward to this 5D4N annual retreat in September to study God’s Word as well as to deepen our bonds with each other and with our pastor.

SAF Endau Rompin

Annual Endau-Rompin Mission Trip (3D2N Sat-Mon in April-May)

This annual event provides opportunities for us to be involved in global missions, as well as to encourage and support fellow believers in the 3 Endau-Rompin churches.

We often visit churches and have worship services during our outings, and enjoy a good time of bonding and fellowship with one another.

We hold 2 special celebrations every year for Chinese New Year and our SAF Anniversary on the 1st Saturday of July.

We organize a day of carolling to visit church members and families of the SAF every year before Christmas to bring joy and encouragement to them.

Encourage & Be Encouraged

Home Visitations

“You don't just encourage people, you get encouraged in return. It's a two-way thing. It's a good way to get to know others and to be a part of the fellowship of believers as well, knowing their background, their faith, their ups and downs. By listening to them, we can learn a lot of things about life, how the Lord deals with individuals in different situations and circumstances. And by their sharing, the Word of God becomes alive through these people's lives. To me that is exciting and interesting!”

On the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of each month, we visit 3-4 homes of members who are shut-ins, sick, or in nursing homes to bring them God’s Word, as well as to worship and pray with them. Holy communion is also served during visits to shut-ins.

Growing In Our Understanding Of Christ

Talks & Bible Studies

Every 1st Thursday of the month, we have a monthly bible study fellowship and lunch from 10.30am - 12.00pm. Worship and praise is followed by an exhortation and group discussions, and we then adjourn for a fellowship lunch.

4 talks are planned each year on Saturday afternoons from 3.00pm - 5.00pm, and various speakers deliver topics of interest to our senior adults, followed by fellowship over refreshments.
